Ok, so I installed Google Chrome a few weeks ago, and I didn't really like it that much. So I uninstalled it, and then I installed IE8, because someone had recommended it here.

So here's the problem: on the bottom right hand side of my task bar I have a little icon that allows me to access my emails with one click. But now that doesn't work anymore.
I can click on it to see that I have emails, I can even change my status, but it won't take me automatically to my hotmail anymore. It's a pain because now I have to go to my homepage each time and access it from there.

Second problem: If I'm on Yahoo IM and someone sends me a link, I can no longer click on it and open it. I have to cut and paste it into the address bar and go from there. I think I'm running the latest version of Yahoo.

Both these problems started when I uninstalled Google Chrome or when I installed IE8.

Can someone tell me in very simple terms what to do to fix this please?

I eventually found the problem. Somehow I had changed my email account to Outlook Express from Hotmail. So I fixed that by going from tools > internet options > programs.

However, I still have the problem with clicking on links and opening them in Yahoo.
