Yeah, Dwight, your right as usual - ‘favorites’ are an Internet Explorer thing and not a Yahoo thingie. And Fritzzs (the 3rd. Answer) was just the thing I wanted.
Got my XP computer in the front room and the Win98 in the bedroom. Both comes on (online) and the telephone also works at the same time.
All of a sudden - bout 2 weeks ago - the 98 would not pull up the ‘la gaceta’ - - we get the old ‘This page cannot be displayed’ window.
I went in to Options and did some Browser setting - telling the 98 that this was a good web site and to let it through. - - - but it still will not pull up.
The XP in the front room pulls it right up
Anyone got any ideas ?

Dwight . . . once again you have saveds the day! Both of those web addresses worked.
Now the big mystery is why the web address on my 98 that has been working for 3-4-5 years, then all of a sudden quit working.
I went into (I.E.)favorites and deleted the non working URL and pulled up one of the URL's that you sent - when La Gaceta popped on screen I used 'ctrl' and 'D' key and put that URL back into 'favorites'
The URL quit working before the big fire in Buenos Aires a week and 1/2 ago, but that fire knocked out parts of La gaceta in Tucamon - more than a 1,000 miles away.
A special note to Fritzz: You said I had just given myself the answer. If the wifes news paper won't pull up on the 98 in the bed room - - let her come in the living room and get on the XP. ANSWER: My wife's not allowed in the front room. 8^))
Thanx again to both you guys . . .

The Internet Explorer version in WinXP is better at resolving URL (address) difficulties. There was evidently a change in the address that your 98 machine (Internet Explorer) couldn't resolve. Have you got the latest I.E. download for the Win98? Open I.E., then "Tools", then Windows Update and download any "Critical" items.
While you're doing that I suggest you also download and install the DirectX runtime tool, too.
