I have a conversation saved. It is xlm document. I use to be able to view them no problem.. Well now if I double click nothing opens. I can open with word but it has so much junk in there it is near impossible to read.. How come I cannot view this anymore. Can someone tell me how to fix this please. Thanks in advance.

The default "saved message" would save this in the file type, "xml" which should open in a browser window, Internet Explorer if that is your default browser.

If the message really is "xlm" format, right-click on the message file and choose "rename". Change the extension to read ."xml" and then open it. It should open in a browser window.

You should also be able to open saved messages by clicking the MSN Messenger window and the File menu / View Message History,

I notice that the newest MSN Messenger, version 8.0 offers the option of saving message history's in the format "Rich Text Format" (.rtf). You do in the message window / File menu / Save Message. It allows you to select the format you want to use.
