Trying to log into my online bank, but keep getting this message:

"Stack overflow at line 0"

What does this mean?

Is that error on the web page, or is it one thrown by your browser? If the former, just come back later and it should be fixed, otherwise call your bank. If the latter, you may be using a rather buggy browser.

A stack/heap error is one where a program has only so much memory allotted to it (think cubby holes), uses it all, and attempts to dump more information into the cubby holes. Of couse, it won't fit. Usually this causes the program to simply terminate, or in some cases, opens a hole to be exploited by malacious code.

Hope this made a little sense.
