Awhile back I think Dwight posted a site called start up cop. I can't seem to find the link for it! Can anyone help? Thanks.

Deciding what you want to auto run at Windows start-up is usually an individual preference.

Things that you need to run include:

Explorer (Explorer.exe) - Your windows installation

Systray (systray.exe) - Displays the status of background applications (Icons down by the clock)

Your Anti-Virus program

Your Firewall program

This site lists many of the programs typically found in the start list. You can look up any that you're not familiar with and then decide if you want them to run automatically or not.

Paul Collin's site

Note: As I write this, Paul Collin's site was not available. If it doesn't open for you, try again later, as I imagine this is only a temporary outage.
