Regardless of your personal feelings on possible military action in Iraq, I urge all Americans to support the brave men and women in the armed services. Visit Hugs to Kuwait and learn how.
p.s. I tried sending an e-mail to the address they list, but it said the box was full. Just have patience and keep trying.

There seems to be a lot of anti-war protests in the US in the news.
I'm here to tell you that there is one big on-going, pro-war demonstration that the news is not really covering explicitly. There are about 2 million of us world-wide, silently and loyally carrying our demonstration paraphanalia. We wear a uniform and our signs have magazines.
(But just so you know, almost all of us support the president's actions with whole hearts, and we're almost never interviewed except to tell how we feel about being away from our families. We're not war-mongers, we just love freedom and hate tyrants who murder their own people.)

"We're not war-mongers, we just love freedom and hate tyrants who murder their own people." Beautifully put, Mahal. And I agree. If the message were that simple and straightforward, I think it would be a lot easier for people to get behind. But of course the news isn't talking about the pro-war folk. Who wants to hear about people who agree with the president? Not nearly controversial enough.
I just think it's important to support the troops, whether we agree with the president or not.
