In 1981, Wogan set the world record for the longest successful golf putt ever televised, which was 33 yards (30.2m) at the Gleneagles golf course in a pro-celebrity TV programme on the BBC.[17]

How can something be an "Unintentional world record" when the man was trying to do exactly what he did? Or am I mistaken in that he wasn't really trying to sink the putt?
