Don't want a Precise number but what average Percentage is the APR on Credit/store cards in North America?
The UK has 29% on its store and credit cards,
though there are 1 or 2 in the 30% bracket!

According to BillSaver University (Whoever they are):
The average credit card APR is 13.37%. But there are introductory rates down to zero percent for a short period. Higher rates for cash transfers, and rate variations that depend on balances, creditworthiness of the cardholder, etc. Paying only the minmum monthly payment one could eaasily remain in debt forever.

Beware the averages.

You are likely to be charged 18-21% on normal purchases if you have an average or low credit score.

But you can be charged 24% or more for certain transactions, such as cash advances.

Unless you enjoy being ripped off repeatedly, I would suggest you never buy on credit for a rate higher than 8%, and if at all possible, live your life debt free.

Credit cards are the spawn of Satan.

(If investments can't give you more than 2% on savings, 4% on CD's, and 8-10% on risky investments, why should you guarantee out of your own pocket a higher rate and get absolutely nothing in return?)

Keep your money in your pocket where it belongs.
