I sold my vehicle and i was just wondering if it is safe to give out my account # to the person so they can deposit the money right into my account.

I certainly wouldn't! Let's see, the person has your vehicle, your name, your title, and your bank account number. Aren't you afraid that he might just as readily draw something, or everything, out of your account? What earthly reason could there be for him to pay for the car in such a questionable way??

Frank is absolutely correct. You should never give account numbers of anything (bank, credit card, social security) to anyone in situations such as this.
