DC (Debt Consolidation) and DMP (Debt Management Programs) are about the same thing. DC is sometimes just a large loan to pay off everything and then have one payment going out. DMP are kind of handy though if anything is not just WONDERFUL about your credit. After a deal of time that I was unemployed my husband and my credit got somewhat tarnished and we signed up with a DMP that has been a God send. We send them one lump sum each month and they break it down and send it to all our creditors accordingly and what's even better is that it is actually costing us less and paying things off quicker as they have the ability to get our interest rates almost completely gone and work deals better with the creditors. It is truly helpful if this is something you are needing. It also helps get your credit rating back in good standing for future loans if you ever need one. Good luck.
