Do you ever get that feeling like someone is staring at you eventhough you're completely alone? I've gotten this so many times that i'm actually used to it.
I once told a friend of mine about this and she told me that since she has cats she always gets that feeling. I know that it is not my cats. When my cats stare at me, it doesn't bother me and i barely even notice. The feeling i get is often accompanied with a sudden unexlainable feeling of fear. Like if i turn around someone will be there with an axe!!! Eek Anyone else?

When I was younger, I used to have to run up the basement stairs because I just KNEW that the Big Scary Bad Thing would get me if I went too slow or looked back.
But yes, every so often in my adult life I've felt someone or something where there wasn't anything visible.
If you are feeling fear at that level, you may want to try shielding yourself against any malicious energies. You may also want to consider consulting a medium. There may be something hanging around that would be far better off somewhere else...

When I was littel i wasn't afraid of things i couldn't see. The boogie man, the monster in the closet and all that other stuff never scared me.
Now that i have been thinking about it for awhile, i realized that i'm not usually scared when i feel like something is watching me. Sometimes it's actually comforting when i'm home alone. Hmm, maybe i have a Guardian Angel that hangs around when i'm home alone...

Also entirely possible (though, personally, I have trouble with the word "angel"). Have you meditated on this?

Personally, i don't really believe in angels in the traditional sense of the word. I think it's faeries, actually. I've had things go missing and faeries like to play games like that.
No, Elexina, i have not meditated on it.

I was thinking more along the lines of spirits and spirit guides, but some people like to refer to them as angels. Not me, but some.
If what you're experiencing is bothersome to you, or if you want to understand more about it, you could meditate and try to see through to an answer or reason or cause that way. Smile

Elexina, when you say consulting a medium, what exactly is a medium?

every once in awhile when i go upstairs out of the corner of my eye i see something, then i turn around its gone.
Sometimes when I watch tv i feel like someone is looking over my shoulder. Very strange, sometimes I even get goosebumps.

Honilov, since Elexina has not yet answered your question, i believe i can. A medium is someone who is able to communicate with spirits. Kinda like a psychic, but not really. There are t.v. shows that are on during the day that feature mediums, although i doubt the truth of them. If i had a medium come to my house they would be able to tell me if there was a spirit or spirits in my home. They would also be able to speak to these spirits and they would be able to speak to him if they chose to.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Kalena, but if a medium came to my house and verified that there was a spitit in my house, could he/she get rid of it for me. There is no way that I would want to communicate with a spirit, so I would want the medium to get rid of it.

Sorry I misspelled 'spirit'. I wonder if a spirit was here making me do that. Big Grin

Click Here for an article about experiments done to test this very subject.

Honilov, I am sorry that I did not respond earlier but I have been internet-less for the past couple of days.
Yes, as Kalena explained, a medium is a person capable of communicating with spirits, ghosts and the like. He or she is called a "medium" because s/he is in the 'middle' of the two worlds (the living and the dead) when performing this communication.
Mediums do not usually rid a house of malevolent spirits. They might assist you, but usually in particularly nasty cases an exorcist is called for. These cases are few and far between, however. True exorcisms are very rare.

Don't you think it's weird that most people are not ''psychic'' but most people get this feeling?

Actually, everyone has psychic potential, it's just that so few bother to make use of it.

I know that everyone is psychic, but what I meant to say is that isn't it wierd that EVERYONE gets this feeling of being watched regardless of their use of their abilities?

I think it might be that when we are alone, we become more aware of our surroundings, especially if we don't like to be alone. Once we become more aware, we are more sensitive to fluctuations in the environment around us. ( i.e. temp change) that sort of thing. Does that make sense? Does that help Julieta?

If everyone has that watched feeling, then it's not really "weird," but "normal." It would be "weird" if only some people had it. Smile
We are definitely more in-tune when the house is empty, I think. That's why I like to keep it fully stocked with cats. Life's furry distractions from thinking about things to hard.

Yeah that makes sense Big Grin Big Grin
