From China, they can grow up to three feet long, are carnivorous, and can 'walk' from lake to river, taking up to three days to get there. They are already in California, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. What are they and why are they dangerous?

Yuck, I can't even stand to say the name of them....but here goes...Snakeheads...
They walk on their flippers from one body of water to another and can survive 3 or 4 days on the shore. And I guess they are considered dangerous to humans because of their sharp teeth...and dangerous to fish because there are about 130 endangered species that the snakehead will eat...or they could be considered dangerous because a federal ban was imposed in 2002 making it illegal to buy, sale, or exchange them...
