What prompted Maryland Department
of Natural Resources officials to
begin dumping the herbicide diquat
and the poison rotenone in several
Maryland ponds in 2002 ?

They did it in order to get rid of the nasty water and land wandering snakehead fish that appeared in the ponds...while it was killed all the other fish too, it was the only way to eliminate them

That's it ! They poured in
herbicides to kill all the food
then poison to finish off the
little fishies !
