Lake Vida in Antartica's McMurdo Dry Valleys stays unfrozen under 19 meters of ice at -10 Celsius because its waters are seven times saltier than the sea. See: BBC NewsDon Juan Pond also in the Dry Valleys remains unfrozen without the protection of an ice cap until the temperature reaches an astounding -53 degrees Celsius (which rarely occurs). This is because the liquid in the pond is a near-saturation solution of calcium chloride. See: SIUC Microbiologists in Antarctica!
