I do have Lake Titicaca as the largest fresh water lake in South America which is in the Andes Mountains on the boundary of Bolivia and Peru, has a surface area of 3,141 square miles. At 12,500 feet above sea level, it is the worlds highest large lake. Thanks Jelp!
