I'm still in the top 1.72% of the richest people in the world....

But come on! The average worldwide annual income is only $5,000? Puhleeze!

Well this is certainly a biased opinion presented.

Richness is not calculated only by income, but by what that income can buy. Someone who makes $40,000 per year in this country, for example, is definitely lower class. Someone who makes $40,000 per year in a third world country is rich beyond belief. I wouldn't give much regard to this site's opinions.

I wouldn't give much regard to its efficiency, either: I put in my income and clicked "Show me the money," and got a message saying, "Please type in a number."

$5,000 every year seems high, to me. Remember, there are a LOT more poor people than even middle class, much less rich.
