Gin Diamond Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post Yes, we have it and it does work. You have to make sure you have you name on the list and if telemarketers call their company can be fined. I haven't had any calls since I put my name on last year but I sure do get lots of research people now. Their first sentence is, I'm not selling anything, but I'm beginning to hate them the way I hated those telemarketer calls.

BUT, we have heard lots of talk on the local news that said a federal "no call" registry will be in effect for the entire nation by this summer. The fines can be as high as $10,000 for telemarketers that ignore the registered requests. I can't wait!! It sounds wonderful. I'll be eagerly signing up as soon as it's available!
