This dude in my Ceramics Class is constantly bothering me. I tell him every day to leave me alone and he won't. I would have thought he had a crush on me if we weren't juniors in high school!! What should I do?

Some people are just more immature than others. It takes some time for people to grow up and take a hint. The one thing i can sugguest is do not make any attempt to give him any attention. Dont even bother telling him to leave you alone because he is just getting more attention. Dont make any eye contact or acknowlege that he is there. If he pokes you or anything dont turn around just keep on doing whatever you are doing. Sometimes though if he asks you a question nod your head yes or no and keep going with what you are in to. Eventually he will get the hint and leave you alone because it wont be worth his time and effort. Good luck

So high school juniors can't have a crush? I think he is sweet on you and is immature so doesn't know how to express himself to a girl. If he is not such a bad guy maybe tell him to stop poking you and all that stupid stuff and you will talk to him a bit but not go out or anything. (take breath -long sentence) If he is just so much pollution give him a banana for his trip to planet monkey and punch or slap him on his next poke so that he and others around really get the idea he is a royal pain in the butt. It will be worth the detention.

Space, I think he definately has a crush on you. Boys mature somewhat slower than girls, and they sometimes don't know how to express themselves. My daughter is a Junior as well and this happens to her. What does she do? Completely ignores them. Don't say a word, and they eventually find something else to do. Good luck sweetie, Pup

Ignore him, he will get bored-- trust me, at that age, most guys attention spans are kinda short.

Also ignore people who tell you that your question or comment is "dumass"-- that in itself shows their maturity level.
