omg i think i'm gonna lose it!! i get to school today and see all these news people around....turns out that yesterday after school someone from my class was car jacked and kidnapped! they finally found him late last nite and the guys had a gun to his head....i'm not exactly feeling safe at my school but i know it wasnt random i know he was singled out b/c hes the richest kid at our school...one of the guys who kidnapped him graduated from there back in 2000, its just so weird! and i know i should be freaked out but i was actually at school when this all happened and i didnt even see it! i coulda been the one............help me!!

Chill out hon. True, you definetly should be freaked out, I know I would. The high school across the street from mine has drive bys and shoot outs all the time and someone ends up dead every week or so. My friends that go there are freaked out too, but I guess they've gottem over the shock with time(thank God I aint goin there).

If you're really worried, the only option is not coming to school or transferring, which really aren't options at all. There realy is nothing you can do about it. Make sure you don't do things or put yourself in a position where that might happen to you, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

And why would anyone want to kidnap a guy because he was rich (unless of course hey were gonna hold him for ransom)? Is he okay?

Wow, I can see why you're scared. I'm so sorry this happened. It's something you'll likely never forget. Try and learn from it and learn some preventive steps you can take to ensure that you don't become a statistic as well. I'm putting some websites here that I think you'll find interesting. yes hes ok now, hes just a lil scared to come back to school, and yes they did hold him for randsom, one of the guys that did it grew up w/ him...its just all so crazy right now! ohh and the one that grew up w/ him graduated from our school back in 2000....idk
