Okay I have wanted an eyebrow piercing for a long time now but I know there is no way that is going to happen, so I wont mess with that(for a year or two anyway Wink). But this person I was talking to on the Internet said there is little metal clippie thingie you can buy and put around your eyebrow that will look like a piercing, just without the hole.

I'm thinking what the hell, but he gave me a little smidgen of hope that such a thing exists, so my question is, is there, and if so, where can I buy it?

Many thanks.

an eyebrow piercing is very easy to give.
Just sterilize a needle put it through and tie it off with a string or folow through with a stud.
UNless the reaosn why you can't get it is because you're not allowed, then don't do it.
I have 3 piercings 2 on my left one on my right, and they were all done that way.

No, Ron, my mom wont let me get one yet. One day though I will. The great thing about piercngs is that unlike tatoos, they arent premanant. Big Grin

Yelena, piercings may not be permanent, but they do generally leave scars if you decide to take them out -especially if they've ever been infected.
Ron, it IS easy to give an eyebrow piercing, but let's not recommend that Yelena defy her mothers' wishes, okay?

You really need to be careful with piercing of any sort. I should start by saying make sure you have permission from your mum first. If you haven't and go and get it done it will only cause a lot of trouble between you and your mum.
I had my left ear pieced when I was 13 which was a long time ago now against my mums wishes and I got grounded for a month. It was the trendy thing to at the time and still is for young guys. Most guys in the 80's in the U/K wore one ear ring. At the the time it just a bit radical for my mum. A year later I had it done this time with her permission and my mum was happy with that. I still wear an ear ring to this day. I think the problem with piercing your eye brow is that its radical though trendy at the moment. Most parents aren't so fussy about girls or guys having ear rings but anything else seems a bit shocking.
For now if you can find them wear fake jewellery and have a think before you dive in and get this done. I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself. Its very very stupid and you can get all sorts of nasty infections from equipment that is not sterile. If you go ahead with this with parental permission go to a proper professional who will pierce your eye brow in the proper hygenic way. I am surprised Ron suggested that. Good luck with this one. Yes, Ron's way is the easy way, but do the piercing in a doctor's office or get it done by a professional who either burns the needles in your presence or takes them out of a sterile plastic bag so you know that the needle is sterile.

Guys, if a piercing is to be done at all, please have a professional do it with sterile equipment... forget the burning with a flame sterilization thing.. simply go to someone who does this for a living and uses appropriate procedures. If the place doesn't look clean and the hands do not look clean, get the HECK OUT OF THERE!

I'd hate to tell you how many infections I've seen in my line of work....... some serious ones where body parts had to be removed.

No sense in playing games, get a professional do it (once you have permission from parents/guardian if you are a minor).

I have seen a lot of fake piercings in the stores. Spencer's gifts, Claire's Boutique and other little jewelry stores at the mall have them. They look really cool and you can't even tell they aren't real. A few of them are done with a magnet. You put one magnet (cool design) on the outside of your nose and the other plain magnet on the inside. They stick together.

They have clamp rings for the eyebrow and belly button. I think some are spring pressurized and some twist on. I think some have the magnets too. They REALLY do look real. My friends 12 year old daughter had the eyebrow one and she really fooled me. Eek

I think trying the clip on or magnetic jewelry is a great idea. They have soooooo many cool designs. If you change your mind you can just take it out. And if you use the clip on/ clamp rings, don't tell anyone it isn't real. It will be your secret! Wink

I remember when magnetic earrings were all the rage in the late 70's. I had a few pairs and felt quite grown up! I looked like I had pierced ears...well at least until the magnetic back fell off...Eek

Just for the record, facial piercings are SO unattractive, and should be left to the earth's lost tribes, IMO.

It used to be that young'ns did this out of rebellion, or just to be different. If you want to be different then DON'T get any facial piercings, and be the beautiful girl that you are.

I think it is great that teens can express themselves with fake tattoos, glitter eyemakeup, clip on piercings, fake hairpieces, colored hair etc.... Its cool. (and not permanent! Wink)

It is just for fun. Smile Big Grin
