Well unless you are a waitress at the Waffle House might I suggest that you reserve the use of a pet name for one special guy...instead of throwing them out at random to all your guy friends. Use of a pet name might cause one to think you feel something more for them than just friendship. Of course that's just my opinion. And then again, I've never in my entire life called a guy by a pet name....

You could just have a special name for each of them. Little nicknames that only they know. Sometimes if you use the same name for everyone it loses its cuteness really fast. Try adding a cute name to the beginning of their name and link them together. Think of something you have shared or an inside joke. Those pet/nicknames seem to work best and it makes them feel special because the name is just for them. Smile

LOL... I was just thinking about your question and ir reminded me of the movie "Legally Blond" where the ex-boyfriend always called her "Pooh-Bear" and then he called he new fiance "Pooh-Bear" in front of the ex-grilfriend. It was quite tacky. Smile

I call Sagus and my sons small endearment names, but not any of my past boyfriends.

Georgia, Don't worry...the pet names aren't like real serious...we jokingly say them out of endearment or whatever...even my best friend who's a girl...we say them to each other...i was just hoping for a couple of suggestions for common or even not so common pet names

I like Clare's idea. Give us some names of your friends so we can help you think of some good, funny nicknames for them. Big Grin

You could use Sesame Street characters. Or Fraggles. Or Muppets.
...But whatever you do, be sure that the guys are really okay with the pet names. Maybe you've got some really special guy friends, though, because in my experience most guys (even boyfriends and husbands) really hate pet names.

I was going to post a whole bunch of names, but I came across this site with tons of nicknames and information on good and bad ones.

Hope it helps! Smile
