This morning I was watching a Caption Planet cartoon on cartoon network and they where talking about bats.

Well at the end of the cartoon they said something about building your own bat house. Something like a bird house & hanging it on a tree for bats to live in. This is the first time I ever heard of doing this. Have you ever made or seen one on a tree before?

Is it safe to have one near your house & do you know any sites I could go to learn more about a bat house?

My husband made one for his father. It helped with the mosquitoes and other flying insects. He has it within 20 feet of his house and has not had any problems with it.
