We have a problem here with Black Flies that is unbelievable. They are so bad that they are stopping the baby calves and lambs from gaining weight and in some instances to the point of starvation. The ones we have are called Simulium Vittatum. Does anyone know of a site where I can get information on where they come from, How long do they live, does the infestation last all summer etc. etc.
