Do all spiders that spin webs use stabilimenta ? And what is the purpose of stabilimenta ?

Stabilimenta is nothing more than silky "doodles" in the web and serve the purpose keeping predators away. Species with decorated webs hunt during the day, and sit at the center of their web. This has made researchers think that stabilimenta are a visual signal or decoy. More info can be found at:silky doodles
