How many animals use tools? I've heard of chimps using sticks, sea gulls using rocks (they drop clams on rocks to break them open), and raccoons use water (to wash food).

Sea otters use rocks as an anvil on their chests, whilst swimming on their backs, to break open clams and other shell food.

Actually raccoons don't 'wash' their food as many people think, they run it under cold water because it then allows them to feel items in the food that they don't want.

A gorilla has been seen testing the depth of a stream with a stick. That indicates a higher intelligence than some humans I have seen driving cars.
