Whales and dolphins are dying to entertain us, literally. Visit Cetacean Freedom Network to see just how many and where they have died. You'll be amazed. You can help put an end to it. Don't buy a ticket to see them. It is that simple.

Since I don't recall ever doing so, it will be easy to avoid. However, I am not sure how successful a boycott will be in the larger picture. As, noted, it is big business.

Also, I have to ask this.....

what are the statistics for SURVIVING cetaceans? I mean, there is no documentation that discusses those who have NOT died and are very old. Also, maybe the living-in-the-wild orcas (et all) have the CHANCE to live that long.. but do they actually live that long on average?

I am all for reducing cruelty to animals, any animal... but where is additional documentation supporting these data?

Do you think that most zoos are doing a disservice to animals in general or do you think that many animals would already be extinct because of their vanishing environments and are actually protected there?
