If you have an irrational illogical fear of something, you have a (blank)phobia. If you have an irrational illogical compulsion or obsession about something, what are you? Is there a Greek or Latin suffix for obsessions? And is there a list anywhere of all of the obsessions that are medically approved? I have one for the phobias and was looking for something similar. Thank you.

I don't know about a suffix but you can find lists of all medically accepted disorders in the DSM-IV-R (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition Revised) which can be found in a local library in the Psychology section.
