I have an older panasonic camcorder that also takes digital photos.

Once I have those pictures downloaded to my computer, is there anyway to make them black and white?

Thanks

Yes. Most graphics programs have an option to convert to black and white. What picture editors do you have on your computer?

Oh heck, I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff. As far as I know, I just have "paint". But I might have more....beats me!

I have windows 98, so whatever comes with that, and the panasonic disk itself.

If you go into the properties section of your printer, you can change the settings to B/W...
Using an older camera, I doubt if your pictures will be of good quality, as alder cameras did not have high pixels...

Thanks for your help!

Try using Irfanview

Once installed, open the file you want to convert to B&W

Go to Image | Convert to Greyscale

You can even do Batch conversions so that you can convert a number of images in one go

Good point, putasolutions!

I have so many imaging programs that I forgot about "Irfanview"! It's a good one!
