...and has it plugged into the only port it will fit into (same as my flash drive) but has no idea how to get at the pictures. The scanner and camera wizard offers a list, but this one isn't on there (jamcam). I did have a shortcut on my desktop but it's gone now. I also have a printer that scans and copies and faxes, can I use that instead?

Thanks for all help.

I'm assuming you're using windows. Generally, you go to "My Computer" and, when your camera is plugged in, there should be a new drive. Go into that drive and you should find the pictures in one of the folders. If it isn't there, let me know and I'll look into jamcams, or you can check out their help site.

Thank you, methos. The "My Computer" part is the part I didn't know about.

Recently, I brought my camera on a trip to the ancestral home and wanted to put the photos on my parents' confuser, er, computer. When I plugged it into the USB port, the computer didn't recognize the hardware and I couldn't access the photos.

So, I downloaded a driver from Fuji (my camera company) and that fixed the problem.

I just bring this up so that you, or anyone else reading this, can have this extra info.

If you don't have enough USB ports on your computer you can get a 4 port Hub for about $30 at Circuit City

Thank you KesMan, methos and diarmait. Unfortunately, the only driver located online is corrupted. Had to ask for a refund. Am bidding on a good one now.

Bless you all.
