I'm having an odd problem using my web-cam in yahoo. I tried to activate it when talking with a friend - they got the invitation, but when they clicked, came up on a firewall stating that I had to grant permission....I got nothing asking me to grant permission.

We made sure we had the same version of Yahoo Messenger, and neither of us has a firewall up.

Just to be sure, I checked with some other friends, also on Yahoo Messenger, and it worked just fine with them.

Anyone ever run into something like this before? And any idea how to get around it?

Thanks!

Make sure your preferences are set right. I think you have to select them ahead of time. Or you might need to go to tools>> invite friend to view webcam. See if that helps.
