Water chestnut wraps, recipe courtesy of kittypal

Canned whole water chestnuts (use as many cans as you need to)

Bacon (1/3 strip for each)

1/2 cup brown sugar (per each can of chestnut)

1/2 cup catsup (per can of chestnut)

cut water chestnuts in half and wrap each in about 1/3 strip of bacon, keep together with toothpicks. Put on a broiler pan so grease drips off. Bake at 350 for 30 min. take these and place in a serving dish that is oven proof. Mix together catsup & sugar pour over chestnuts and bake again at 350 for another 30 minutes. Serve (good hot or cold)
