OK this one is easy and you can use it for appetizers or as a main course. All you need is one of those BIG loves of french bread that has already been split down the middle and slathered with garlic butter ( I got mine at Walmart for 1.50 Big Grin ) Lay the slices out on a baking sheet side by side and top with lots of shredded mozzarella, then add chopped red onions, some ham or canadian bacon, fresh diced tomatoes and anything else you would like ( olives, mushrooms etc. ) I didnt put any pizza sauce on the one I made just because it was already so moist with the garlic butter but Im sure it would be ok if you want to add a thin layer. Put it under the broiler just until the edges get brown and the cheese melts, turn the oven down to about 350 and leave it in there for about 5 minutes to heat through, Very simple, cheap and very very filling. Cut it up in small pieces to serve as appetizers or cut it in big chunks to serve as a meal Big Grin

I just use regular French or Vienna bread for mine. I lightly coat the bread with olive oil, and then put on a thick pizza sauce that I make. You can also make smaller ones by using Hoagy rolls. Smaller ones can be put in most toaster ovens.

Try English Muffins.... Lightly toast first, put on the gooop, then toast again...

I never thought of using English muffins, Fritzzs. It sounds like a good idea, especially if you are serving one or two people. If the taste is one that people prefer, and are serving quite a few, a loaf of English muffin bread, sliced horizontally to the right thickness would work.

Every now and then, when I have certain leftovers at home , I will make English Muffin pizzas at the store... Some get to a "Dagwood" heigth, but they shoore are tasty....I especially like a BBQ flavor.....
