This is a really good glaze to put on those little tiny cocktail weenies in a chafing dish.
It sounds weird, I know...but it's good.
In a saucepan, mix a couple of big spoons of grape jelly with a dollop of yellow mustard.
Mix it up over low heat til it all melts together. Taste it and adjust either one to your own taste preference. Some like more mustard for the tang, and some like more jelly for the sweet.
Pour in a package of cocktail weenies and heat thru.
Put them in a chafing dish or over sterno to keep warm and poke 'em with those little toothpicks with the fluffy ends on 'em. ____________________________

12-03-03, 10:36 AM Patricia This also works with party meatballs. Try it with spicy mustard, to "kick it up a notch".
12-04-03, 02:19 PM Christine I've had this made with grape jelly and chili sauce or coctail sauce. Also sounds awful, but turns out to be awfully good! Wink
