I use to have a recipe for beer weenies. It had grape jelly li'l smokies and beer in it, but im not sure what else or how to make it. Does anyone have a recipe?

2 - 2 lb pkgs lil smokies
12-14 oz tangy style catsup, smokey or
spicy BBQ sauce, or chili sauce
1/4 c brown sugar
2 tsp Liquid Smoke
2 tbs dried minced onion
1/2-1 cup grape jelly
1 can beer
Mix all ingredients (except smokies) in a crock pot on low. Stir until jelly disolves. Add smokies. Stir to coat smokies, let simmer about 20 minutes, then cover. Heat on low about 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.

Variations - add Teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple, substitute ham cubes
