This is an excellent recipe...

Buy some whole stuffing mushrooms, cook a pound os sweet sausage, place cooked sausage into the musrooms. top with ausiago cheese, drizzle with some oilve oil and bake 350 till cheese is melted, maybe 15 mins. keep an eye on them so the chsse doesnt burn.

You can use mottzerella cheese too but ausiago cheese adds alot of flavor and once you make it his way, you will be hooked. This cheese is over $5 whole but you only need to grate a tiny bit to cover the mushrooms..

I usually buy 3 or 4 packages of the mushrooms. If there is extra cook it for another dish later. I place the mushrooms on a large pizza pan...

Yes its fab...let me know how you like it...you can also buy large portobella's and put cook up some bacon and cruble it up and put it on them and cook them the same way...you can also buy the large bag of hormel bacon bits thats are crumbled up at sams club. I tried using the smaller bags of the bacon bits but it didnt work as well..You can also mix the crumbled bacon with some sausage and put it ontop too..when I make my stuffed mushroom, they are gone real fast. Smile
