3 pounds chicken wings 1 can(17 oz.) apricot halves, drained 2 TBSP ketchup 2 TBSP vegetable oil 1 TBSP lemon juice 1 tsp. salt ½ tsp. liquid smoke (optional) ½ tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)
Preheat oven to 425º. Split the wings at each joint and discard tips; rinse, then pat dry. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor: blend until smooth. Place chicken wings in a single layer on a rack in a shallow baking pan; brush with Apricot sauce. Bake for about 30 minutes until brown and crisp, basting with sauce after 15 minutes.
