hi, i'm new here and was wondering if anyone had a recipe on how to make cheesesticks, espeacially those huge ones like they have at raggazzi's. thanks so much!

Rhonda? I'm not familiar with the restaurant you mentioned, so could you describe what they are like? Would it be like deep fried mozzarella sticks?

Yes, deep fried mozzarella sticks!! Thanks for clarifying that. Ragazzi's huge they are probably about 3 and a half inches around and they have a crumbly type of crust on them, seems like the cheese is dipped into a batter of sorts and then into a crumb mixture. any ideas?

Here is a recipe for Deep fried Mozaarella - Experiment, depending on the size of the pieces of cheese that you want to use.

Definitely one of my favorite appetizers!

I think that if you would freeze the cheese after you bread them and then do the flash fry deep fat fryer would work great. When the sticks float, you know that they are cooked! Smile
