Hi, I am a pianist and am after the piano sheet music for the old Yellow page advert theme(J.R.Hartley fly fishing). Does anyone know how I can get a copy? Nothing simplified please (for restaurant music). Thank you loads!

Here's a start (?). The music for this ad was called (wait for it!)....J R Hartley Theme. It was composed by Dick Walter, a British born composer and arranger who wrote film scores [listed on the imdb website] and who would therefore be a likely choice for some big budget advertiser. This seems to be the same Dick Walter some of whose music was being published by KPM Music in the early 1980s. Now, where to go from there? Perhaps Chappells can find this piece given that information
It's a bit of a long shot but music publishers sometimes make compilations on a theme. Obviously you'll get Christmas Carols in a volume but you'll also find Big Band Hits, Mood Music, Party selections, Music of some particular era or style and so on. There ought to be a collection of TV theme tunes and there may be one of favourite tunes from the ads. A big sheet music store may well have it in that form.
