So you think you know yuor music trivia? (And you do! ) Some bands (old and not so old) have often been called by their initials, either as their name or as a shortened way to refer to them. How many can you give the real names to without looking them up?
AFI R.E.M. UB40 CSN CSN&Y CSI:NY OMD OMC ELO CTA (Also what did they change it to?) ELP (EL&P) PGE (PG&E) STP G'n'R NIN Reverse: Where does the singer's name Eminem come from? (Sooo easy...)

UB40 was UB40 A UB40 was the document you got when you were out of work or lost your job in Britain. It showed you were entitled to Unemployment Benefit.
I had to verify it in a book, but, R.E.M. appears to stand for the obvious, Rapid Eye Movement, according to author Jim Greer it was chosen from the dictionary.
Yes, G'n'R is Guns 'n' Roses, but I didn't think Axl Rose was Norwegian. (On the other hand, I don't know what he is! ) Fred, I remember DDDBM and T (I do have a long memory, don't I?), but was too lazy to look up the initials. Thanks for adding them!
BTW CSI:NY (Crime Scene Investigation: New York) was just thrown in to see if you were paying attention!
So we have left: CSN (Come on, if you got CSN&Y... OK, try CS&N)) OMC (One hit, but I liked it. ) PGE (PG&E) (Had at least one hit, same name as a big company) All should be on the Internet initially.

And, btw , there is a BTW band! It's a college band that plays football and sports fixtures and seems to be based in Indiana. Not quite what we had in mind
