Bedstor, the Snake Pass is just a few miles away from me. For those who don't know, it is a long, very winding , narrow road connecting Manchester and Sheffield . It is the scene of numerous accidents, many fatal. They have now imposed a speed limit of 40mph on it which has reduced the number of incidents dramatically.
