I half guessed it would be you to answer this! Big Grin
I couldn't find out who coined the tag ? Any ideas on this? Ritz? Roll Eyes

Little technical trivia for you Jenny..
Some early PC sound cards had Roland or Yamaha sound chips. Not sure on current sound cards.Quality nowadays is dictated mainly by the speaker output. Internal sound cards are going out of style Roll Eyes They are integrated with the motherboard to make space. but they work well despite the "dumbing down" Smile

Bedstor, I couldn't find out anything either as to why the Wurlitzer was called 'MIGHTY'. Many companies manufactured theatre organs at the time but Wurlitzer was by far the most well-known. They also manufactured smaller organs too. I suppose the nickname was in reference to the enormous, variable sounds the theatre organ was capable of. By the way, if you ever get chance to go to a theatre organ concert, you will not be disappointed! It sounds nothing like it does on the TV or radio. You need to hear it 'live' Big Grin
