As far as I can tell it is "I’m a Cranky Old Yank in a Clanky Old Tank on the Streets of Yokohama with my Honolulu Mama Doin’ Those Beat-o, Beat-o Flat-On-My-Seat-o, Hirohito Blues" written by Hoagy Carmichael in 1943.
longest song title is "Regretting what I said to you when you called me on Friday morning to tell me that Friday afternoon you were going to leave your office and call a cab to go to the airport to go skiing in the Swiss Alps for 2 weeks, not that I wanted to go with you, I can't really leave town at this time, I wouldn't expect you to pay my way and I don't really like skiing, but after going out with you for 3 years, I don't like surprises." by Christine Lavin

While Dogspit ( I love that name !) came up with the answer I was expecting, koicarp comes in with a longer title. Koicarp, can you supply some sort of source for this ? a label, a date, a reference in Guiness, etc. ? ( Not that I would smell something fishy from someone named 'koicarp!')

(Of note, the Fiona Apple album title on this list is given by several sites as the longest album title)
Some sites suggest the Carmichael tune as being listed in Guinness as the world's longest song title. However, I can't find it at the Guinness site. I have a paperback copy of the 1996 Guinness and could find no listing for longest song title.

O Occupier of the Golden Throne (OGT), you'll have to get a much older Guinness. I remember reading about Carmichael's song in the 60's ( the 1960's, that is) in Guinness. The links you provided are proof enough for me. By the power vested in me as the sole person awake in my house at this time, (and the only person here at this time), I declare Christene Lavin's song as having the longest title until another one comes along. Sorry Hoagy, but you still got the sandwich.

Does anyone ever recollect a song-title which went something like:- "Red with Rage; Purple with Passion; Green with Envy; Black with Anger; What Were You Doing in His Arms Last Night, Blues?" Obviously not the longest, but not the shortest either...! -if so, who wrote and performed it (I don't know this answer...)
