That's interesting, Fred. Finnish, Estonian, and Hnugarian are related and, together, are almost language isolates in Europe. They are related to a few very-little used languages in Europe, but are not part of the Indo-European family of languages. (They're part of the Finno-Ugric languages.) (My mother spoke Hungarian. Her father was born in Hungary, and her mother, as near as I can tell, was conceived in Budapest, but born in New Jersey. [Don't tell Sailracer!]  )
