Bob Dylan's first professional recording was as a session musician for someone else. Can you identify this first recording, and the instrument he played, for which he earned $50?

On this day ( 04/24/1961) in history, Bob Dylan makes his recording debut, playing harmonica on the title track of Harry Belafonte's LP Midnight Special. He is paid $50.
I didn't know the answer to this and hadn't heard the recording before. Then lo and behold they played it on the radio on Saturday morning! Quite a coincidence. The singer didn't sound at all like Harry Belafonte as I know him, but the harmonica playing certainly sounded like Dylan.
