No,sorry I,m looking for something else.

Grenadilla wood or plastic is used for clarinets. Smile, not Oboe either.( I beleive they are made of Cane)

(However, many other sources indicate that African Blackwood is indeed used for other woodwinds, including the clarinet and oboe)

African blackwood is also known as grenadilla. However the keys on a piano or the frets on guitars are made from African blackwood, as are clarinets and oboes.

Yes, Bagpipe,Thanx.SR,Your site indicates other instruments made as well of A.Blackwood,so I made some research.I found out that "grenadilla" is also called "Mpingo" which is.........yes.. Smile African blackwood.
So,TEX and Donrent ,you were right on the clarinet.
