What UK band formed in 1960 appeared with the Beatles as a supporting act and later Made several Hits in the UK charts which in their own right broke the rules but nobody minded ..why? Became a genre of its own They are still in existence albeit with 1 original member
Later on some more bands did the same thing but they mainly played to shows Have no Videos of them on YouTube Pity! No, I don't know the answer to this one, bedstor, but I just have to say, dogspit, that I bought a CD of the Barron Knights in York (UK) couple of years ago. 'Call Up the Groups', 'Pop Go the Workers' and all the others - they're all on there - plus their 'Come To The Dance' style more straightforward stuff as well. Ah, the memories, the memories.
