What UK band formed in 1960 appeared with the Beatles as a supporting act and later Made several Hits in the UK charts which in their own right broke the rules but nobody minded ..why? Became a genre of its own They are still in existence albeit with 1 original member
Later on some more bands did the same thing but they mainly played to shows Have no Videos of them on YouTube Pity! But there are several of this Groups been making stage appearances and the odd record or 2 in the charts ( Big Clue ...Some "Puppy" classics! ) and I'll post one if you post the answer or post it on DP if the answer is later than a week from this date that OK?

No, I don't know the answer to this one, bedstor, but I just have to say, dogspit, that I bought a CD of the Barron Knights in York (UK) couple of years ago. 'Call Up the Groups', 'Pop Go the Workers' and all the others - they're all on there - plus their 'Come To The Dance' style more straightforward stuff as well. Ah, the memories, the memories.
