In 1964, who knocked the Beatles off the top of the Billboard Top 100 chart, which gave the performer a U.S. record as the oldest artist to have a #1 song ? What was the song?

I think Louis Armstrong's "Hello, Dolly" came at about that time. I know it hit #1, and I think he was the oldest to have a #1. He was either 63 or 64 at that time.
