I think Neil Young called himself
the Godfather of Grunge (h), though
Cobain would be easily argued.
Toxic twins (Q) are Perry and Tyler,
now known maybe as the Viagra twins.

J is Purple; MTV called Neil Young the Godfather of Grunge (must be the flannel Wink --maybe Neil did, too); and of course, Joe & Steve are the Toxic Twins.

Back with more:
o. Joan Jett
p. Mick Jagger & Keith Richards
e. First thought was Barry White but found a
Texas singer named Buck "The Big Man" Helton
d. Russell Watson is known as "The Voice" and does classical music.
Ironically, one guy to mention (but not in the "music" world)was Lorenzo Music who did the voice of Garfield and Carlton the Doorman.

Most of those are right. Smile
[FYI: It's "Jimmie" Rodgers, but it'll do.]

I was not looking for Russell as "The Voice" (Hint: Think "Rat").
"The Big Man" I'm looking for is not Barry or Buck. (Hint: He's affiliated with "a".)

So, I'm still looking for "b" (think shoes with three stripes); "d"; "e"; "k" (think "Death To False Metal!"); and "w" (think "speckled bird".)

And, thanks to all!

FYI:
e. Clarence Clemens (E Street Band)
k. Manowar
w. Roy Acuff

["David Allen Coe" would also have worked for y; and "Sam Phillips" or "Billy Lee Riley" (and maybe Elvis) were the other acceptable answers for t.]
