The US concerts were not the first concerts the Beatles gave.

Well I'm not sure what would be classified as an official concert...
Before the Beatles even became the Beatles that we know of today they were performing in Germany. One of their first performances was at the Indra club (Aug 17, 1960) in Hamburg. Pete Best was the drummer at that time. Then December 21 they appeared at Litherland Town Hall in Liverpool, gathering a large group of fans. That sounds like a concert to me!

In 1961 they recorded a single as The Beat Brothers, while continuing with local performances. Aug 17, 1962 would be the last performance with Pete Best, Aug 18, 1962 was the first performance with Ringo Starr. They record their first single as The Beatles in Sep and and start their 4th season of performing in Germany in Nov.

If you hint of Candle Stick Park is referring to their concert in San Fransisco you might want to change your initial question to
When did the Beatles play their last US concert? as that concert was August 29, 1967 and has been labeled as the last US concert.

I really hate to nit-pick, but Candlestick Park was 1966. A bad year after Japan, The Phillipines, and John's Jesus vs. Beatles controversy. Into the studio till the final rooftop performance.

Roog is right. www.brainyhistory.com/days/august_29
The famous rooftop event, which may or may not be considered a concert, took place atop Apple studios in London on January 30, 1969 . It was the last public performance of the Beatles.

My apologies, I made a typo. My eyes saw 1966 but my fingers decided to type something different
