Here is a link to the butter vs margarine question, I would have copied and pasted, but it is a tad long....it is fron Dr. Weil...it more or less states that they both have advantages, mostly disadvantages and rate around the same...He does say that if he had to choose he would take the real thing. I think that processed cheese is like Kraft American and that natural are aged cheeses, I will look it up if I can find it to be sure. Here is the butter link:
I read both articles. In one article, the doctor slightly favors butter over margarine. In the other article, it seems that pasteurized process cheese food is favored. Thanks, kittypal.
Believe it or not - - there are actually differences between Pasteurized process cheese food Pasteurized process cheese spread and Pasteurized process cheese product
I like cheese.....real cheese!! I don't much care which someone else says is best for me, I just like the flavor and consistency better than something you spread on or worse...spray on!!
Lately I have been getting yellow American whatever at the cold cut counter. Does anyone know if this is bad, given that I am not being told what is in it, except that I expect more calories and more fat?
